Miami Heat Superstar Wade Allegedly Under Steroid Influence, Claims Business Partners
Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade is set to be destroyed by his former business partner, Richard Von Houtman. Von Houtman seriously claims that Wade is involved in using illegal steroids. His accusation was based on Wade’s actions similar to steroid rage. He even has a lawsuit from his ex-business partner for cases of fraud.
According to the Miami New Times, Von Houtman and Mark Rodberg, another business partner, filed a federal antitrust suit against this NBA star and Marcus Andrews. This event had been brought about by pulling out the franchise of D Wade’s Sports Grill after the Miami Heat player demanded a larger share of 10% in the business. The reason for taking a bigger claim is the use of his name by the business establishment. This seemed odd since Andrews only owned 2% which was a small percentage compared to Wade’s.
Accusations of monopolizing the business while taking advantage of his name is also part of the lawsuit. The other party claims “efforts to boycott and destroy a potentially competitive channel” by Wade and marketing his personalized sports items. Not only would people think that he is the sole proprietor, but he will have extra profit despite the large 10% share he has on this business. This is considered a violation of the business contract between this NBA superstar and his partners.
Van Houtman attempts to establish a connection with Wade’s declining of the marketing plan and his steroid use. He says that Wade had been acting on steroid rage, with all the signs of a steroids user. The former business partner was using Deca-Durabolin for his rotator cuff. Wade had allegedly asked if he could buy steroids from Von Houtman. This incident did not even happen once, but twice according to Von Houtman. He even referred Wade to his doctor so he can get steroids.

[...] Dwayne Wade however denies the allegations especially the drug use. Wade’s representatives had already denied claims of marijuana use and wild sex parties made by von Houtman in a separate lawsuit against the NBA star over their failed restaurant venture. Aside from the libel and slander lawsuits, there were also the back-and-forth lawsuits over a failed business venture. Wade and his former business partners blamed each other over the failure and lack of promotion of their restaurant business. Last May 15, von Houtman’s attorney in the restaurant lawsuit filed an emergency motion because his client is not available for deposition. Von Houtman needed to fly to Great Britain to visit his sick mother. [...]
