Illegal Importation and Possession of Anabolic Steroids Continue to Rise

Importing and distributing anabolic steroids still rampant There are still some people who are trying their luck in importing and distributing illegal anabolic steroids. This is not only happening in the United States but as well as in other countries. People involved in these activities are taking the risk because of the big return that they could get in selling these steroids to sports and fitness enthusiasts and of course to the general public. We all know that steroids are primarily used by athletes to improve their performance. However, in a recent study in the United Kingdom, anabolic steroids use is also increasing in young men for Image Enhancement.

When Richard Thomas was arrested, who is considered as the biggest steroid dealer in Central Florida, he admitted to investigators that he sold steroids not only to professional athletes but to anybody who is interested to bulk up and enhance their performance which includes the public. Thomas who used steroids as a bodybuilder decided to make it as a business because of the money that he could profit in selling these substances.

In Australia, a 43 year old man tried to bring in 150 vials of steroids which he bought from Hongkong. The customs officials found these steroids in his pockets, luggage and around his belt. He was arrested at Melbourne airport and could face 5 years in prison for illegaly importing steroids.

Canadian authorities arrested John William Borden for illegally possessing anabolic steroids. He was caught in US-Canada border crossing. Agents found in Borden’s vehicle a total of 1,134 steroid pills, 122 milliliters of liquid steroids, 42 syringes, a used syringe and Trazadone, an antidepressant. Based on the report, Borden can’t show any prescription for these drugs. He is facing 3 felony charges and will appear in court on June 9 in Pembina County, North Dakota.

A bodybuilder in Watertown was arrested again for distributing steroids. Justin M. Deprospo, 24 was apprehended by police officers for distributing Class E drug, subsequent offence on steroids. Authorities found large amounts of steroids inside his car. He was already sentenced in April 2008 by a U.S. District court for multiple felony charges for his involvement in an international steroid ring. The judge sentenced him one year and one day in prison.

In Pakistan, authorities raided a pharmacy store in Chuhng for illegal selling of steroids and other prohibited drugs. The raiding team which was headed by Inspector Shahid, recovered 750 banned tablets and 200 defective injections from the said establishment. The owner was arrested and charged.

These people do have in common. Importing and Selling these products illegally. If you are a using steroids for fitness and other medical conditions, why take the risk of getting these from people who are doing illegal business? There are a lot of legal steroids in the market. You just have to look for them, why not try buying it online.
